Strange Times.



These are strange times. You all know that. I’ve been reading a lot recently about the importance of mental and physical well-being during this global lockdown.

Uncertainty, worry, boredom and stress are at an all time high right now. Maybe you don’t even realise that you feel these things. So Ben has some simple friendly advice for you that you may or may not already know.


Walking is underrated.

If you are lucky enough to be in a country where you can still go outside and exercise once a day then please do.

Walking has so many benefits:


  • It increases your fitness, strengthens your bones and joints, boosts fat loss and can aid digestion

  • That Vitamin D from the Sun is good for your bones, teeth and improves your immune system against diseases as well as a general mood booster

  • Walking is free. Requires no equipment.

So find a new podcast to delve into or crank up your favourite playlist or walk and talk with a loved one, whatever. Just get out there and aim for 10K steps a day. You’ll feel great for it.
